Jan, with her song, "Florida, (Where the Sawgrass Meets the Sky)" , won the
'Just Sing Florida' competition, looking for a new Florida State Song.
This was announced by Senator Tony Hill at the FMEA convention in Tampa
on January 11th 2008.
The song was recently passed by the Florida legislature and is now the official
state anthem of Florida.
